  • I do not necessarily want my student loans to be erased, but I would like the lenders to ease up on us a little. I have used up all my deferments since I lost my job over two years ago and I am close to defaulting as are many people who graduated over a year ago and still are not employed.

  • We should replace Congress. Congress votes for what is in their own best interests without taking into account what is in the best interest for the people. They worry about upsetting corporate America who is their biggest contributor to individual campaign funds.

  • Sounds like the sweet sound of printing money and having it go no where. The idea of reducing interest to zero for money banks keep in the Fed vaults sounds like a good idea but it will not make banks want to increase lending.

  • The problem with this bill is that only a few states will truly benefit from it. I doubt that my state (MS) would be one of them. A good jobs bill will eliminate future Free-Trade Agreements that only work to send jobs overseas.

  • He already spent 700 billion dollars to help create jobs and it worked. Corporate America created more jobs in China.

  • 14 million unemployed?  They must not be counting the unemployed who no longer get unemployment benefits or the underemployed who have years of experience but have to settle for near minimum wage jobs, many of which are part-time.
